We had an aging laurel oak tree in our back yard and the roots had taken over the entire backyard. I had gotten a few estimates to remove the tree, which were all very high because limbs from the tree hung over the fence and were over two neighbors' yards. Also, there is very little working space in our backyard, due to a pavilion, a patio with a hot tub, other trees, gardens, and shrubs, and a large free standing sunroom. Alex Harvey's estimate/invoice was not only the best price, but included stump grinding as well. (His price was 1/2 of the highest estimate!) In addition, his reviews were all great, so l obviously went with Harvey Tree Surgeons.

Alex and two very professional employees were able to safely remove the tree, grind the stump, and clean up the yard in just under 6 hours! There was no damage to our other plants or structures, and the neighbors never saw any limbs or debris on their property. All three men were very friendly and courteous, and not only exercised care with our property, but also with the possibility of "creature residents" that could be displaced with removal of the tree. (Luckily, our only squirrel nest was an old one.)

Alex came to look at a tree that I wanted removed . I was impressed with his professionalism and once I knew he was a certified Arborist I knew I was in good hands. He and his crew were very much over the top and I would use his company again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for highly skilled workers for any tree work of any kind.

Harvey’s Tree Surgeons is excellent in several ways. Besides the fact that you certainly get your money’s worth, the attitude of each worker from ownership to those getting in precarious positions in places I would never be, is really amazing. What they really want is for you to be completely satisfied. On more than one occasion I had to ask them to please don’t worry about something yet they persisted because of a high standard I just don’t see very often. At the end of the day you really feel like you got the better deal.

Excellent work, communication, and follow up. We had several bids, and they had a competitive bid- but most importantly, Alex presented a plan right from the get-go.
Arborist secured permit, They communicated when they would show up to start the project and got it done in an efficient manner, including cleaning up everything afterwards.

We highly recommend Harvey's Tree Surgeons. We hired them to remove a wild palm (sabal/cabbage???) that grew on our backyard property line, almost up against a power pole, and was now nestling into the power lines. TECO would occasionally remove fronds, but just enough to clear the wires at the time. With hurricane season upon us, we decided to just remove it. Harvey's crew took it down expertly, without incident, and then hauled it off. The next task was our neighbor's gigantic oak overhanging our backyard to the point of intruding on our service and electric lines to the house. They removed large limbs, once again avoiding any issues with the three lines directly below, leading into the house, and cleaned up the tree so we no longer had lower-level branches and growth overhanging our property. This was a big job, more than half a day. A lot of debris to haul from our backyard to their hauler in the driveway and they left the property super clean. Then Harvey's arborist evaluated our large mango tree, still leaning from Hurricane Irma, and they took off a few large branches to help the tree at no charge. Owner Alex Harvey is a true professional, himself, and his crewmembers were very polite and courteous, unusual, to say the least, in comparison to tree people we have dealt with in the past. We will definitely rely on Alex Harvey's Tree Surgeon for our future tree needs. Included are the before pictures taken by Alex Harvey and included in our proposal, which was very detailed and included documentation of insurance.

Alex with Harvey's Tree Surgeons was very responsive with communication and did an excellent job trimming back our Palm Trees. They look really good. Cleaned everything up afterwards and the job was done professionally. Would use him again.

Alex did a superb job with our home. Huge branches from 3 different directions were closing in on our roof and we needed help asap before the hurricane season. He came to our home to assess the situation and gave us a free estimate on the first day we reached out so we booked him shortly after.
