We highly recommend Harvey's Tree Surgeons. We hired them to remove a wild palm (sabal/cabbage???) that grew on our backyard property line, almost up against a power pole, and was now nestling into the power lines. TECO would occasionally remove fronds, but just enough to clear the wires at the time. With hurricane season upon us, we decided to just remove it. Harvey's crew took it down expertly, without incident, and then hauled it off. The next task was our neighbor's gigantic oak overhanging our backyard to the point of intruding on our service and electric lines to the house. They removed large limbs, once again avoiding any issues with the three lines directly below, leading into the house, and cleaned up the tree so we no longer had lower-level branches and growth overhanging our property. This was a big job, more than half a day. A lot of debris to haul from our backyard to their hauler in the driveway and they left the property super clean. Then Harvey's arborist evaluated our large mango tree, still leaning from Hurricane Irma, and they took off a few large branches to help the tree at no charge. Owner Alex Harvey is a true professional, himself, and his crewmembers were very polite and courteous, unusual, to say the least, in comparison to tree people we have dealt with in the past. We will definitely rely on Alex Harvey's Tree Surgeon for our future tree needs. Included are the before pictures taken by Alex Harvey and included in our proposal, which was very detailed and included documentation of insurance.
